Judith Reitman is an award-winning journalist and author whose work has appeared in leading magazines and newspapers and been featured on national television and radio. She is the author of several non fiction books which have been favorably noted by The New York Times, LA Times, Chicago Sun Times, Publisher's Weekly (dozens more) as well as NPR Radio. Judith founded and directed the first women's prison writing and repertory theater company: The North Carolina Women's Prison Writing and Performance Project which became nationally recognized as a breakthrough education and humanitarian program. Board members included Maya Angelou, the Director of the NC Board of Education, lawyers, judges and the President Emeritus of the UNC School System. Judith is a graduate of the Duke University program in Non Profit Management.
